i was talking ta a contributor and noticed that the comments we made on a contribuition here at AMOS is not sent via email. Is there any work on get this working?

I have already created a ticket for this topic on https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDLSITE-2956 some time ago. But it hasn't been solved yet by David, I assume it's as always to much in do in too less time.
