A new version of AMOS stage page has been deployed to this production site, introducing two new features suggested by Vadim Dvorenko from the Russian translation team.

  • The "Unstage" button that removes a single string from the stage does not reload the whole page any more. The unstaging is much faster now.
  • There is a new "diff" link displayed for each modified string in the stage. The link switches between "difference" and "compare" modes. The "compare" mode displays the staged translation and then the currently committed version of it separately. The "diff" mode displays both versions merged together with insertions and deletions highlighted. The full compare mode is more readable in case of more complex modifications, while the diff mode is useful for typo fixes, generally. AMOS tries to guess the best mode for each string and uses it when it renders the stage page.

Have fun!
