How to add language string for a moduel where ENG is missing ?

Hi,

I'd like to add italians translated strings about forumng module, for version 2.3 of moodle, but I see there are only the english strings for that module for moodle version 2.4.

Who, or how can I, add english strings for that module moodle version 2.3, so then I can upload italian translation ?

The version 2.3 of the forumng module contains an unsupported syntax in its language files that cannot be parsed by AMOS. You can try and ask the maintainer's of this add-on to perform the change.

複雜 ok, thanks, I'll try but since it's an "old" version I guess I'll upload myself the translation file in italian, if and when I had to make a new installation with a newer version of the add-on I'll move the translation in that version.
