Hello,


I cannot upload custom certificate strings from a file to 3.9, it gives an error "No valid string found in the file. Make sure the file has correct filename and is properly formatted"

Hello Jari.

It took me a while to debug this and I agree the interface and the logic behind is not great.

What's happening here is that these Custom certificate elements seem to be last updated for the Moodle version 3.7 only:

So AMOS is not aware of these strings on the 3.9 version, and does not allow you to upload them. You can still upload them if you select 3.7 as the target version.

Must be added that this seems to be a bug in importing the module strings, as the version of the strings in the module subplugins should match the version in the module itself.
