it seems to me, that his forum is the place to discuss translation on the level of "How to do it (technically)". But where do you discuss which translation should be choosen. Aka "Which sentence is the best translation"?

For the French, we use for such purpose a specific forum inside course "Moodle en français": https://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=1683.
I can imagine that other languages do the same.
