I maintain the local_externalzip plugin which is a Moodle local plugin, but which is categorized as "Other" in the plugin directory because it requires the application of a patch file to core code. A commenter on the plugin pointed out that this plugin doesn't appear in the AMOS translation website. I'm fairly sure this is because it's categorized as "Other", so AMOS wouldn't know where to put its translation strings. This would also explain the AMOS error I see when uploading a new version (see attached screenshot).
I guess my question is, am I correct about "Other" plugins not being in AMOS? And, is there a way that we could get them in there, somehow?
Thanks!
