Moodle Mobile 2 new strings available for translation

Hello,

next week will be releasing Moodle Mobile 2 (the new beautiful version of the Moodle Mobile app), we added new features and we change some existing ones so new strings are available for translation.

I'd like to ask to those speaking a different language than English to contribute translating the app, we really appreciate it ngiti

You can find the strings to be translated in the component: local_moodlemobileapp version 2.6 (you only need to translate the strings for that version, no need to copy the strings in further ones)

Thanks, Juan

Hi Juan,

is it correct that some strings are containing named parameters with two brackets like {{size}} or {{unit}} or {{sitename}} and other parameters are unnamed as {{$a}}?

I found that you changed some text strings since my first translation and you also changed some parameters. Please write if everything is correct because the different language versions (de, fr, nl, es_mx) are using different parameters now.

Best regards, Ralf

Hi Ralf,

yes, it's correct to have the two type of strings, but we are trying to migrate the old ones to the "Moodle format" {$a} but with double brackets.

We are fixing the problems we are encountering when we synchronize the strings from AMOS so in the app everything will work as expected.

Regards, Juan
