Reading Moodle codes for translation, I found that some translation strings are not used in Moodle 2.0. For example, the following strings are only used in lang/en/blog.php.
filterblogsby
groupblogentries
mustassociatecourse
So if possible, I'm really happy to remove those unused strings from lang/en/*.php regularly using shell script or php programs.
