I use this trick to check for integrity:
The result is a translation memory that can be analysed with Checkmate.
The problem: probably you will get many errors due to some characters that are not allowed by Checkmate so you will have to remove manually some translation units. After doing it, you will get a report with some possible errors (see the attached image).
Of course, it would be great to have an integrated quality check system in Moodle.

Thanks to the translation memory and Checkmate, I have able to detect about 100 translations with little problems (html tags, ...). In some few translation units (11), the problem was in the source (see the attached file).
How should I report this?

I have found an easier way to generate the .tmx: just export it from the language customization tables. This is the procedure:
The resulting file can be analysed with Checkmate.
