Hi translators,

I found that Petr is working for the book module in Moodle 2.0. We need to translate some new strings so the book will restart with an international version. Please add the strings for the book module to the translator.

Best regards from Germany, Ralf

Hi Ralf,

strings for the Book module were imported into AMOS. See 'book' component in the translator (should be mod_book in fact but the plugin type of non-standard activity modules can not be detected properly yet by AMOS).

Strings for the Book module will be exported into language ZIP packages as if it was standard in-built component. There is no need to send updated translation to the Book maintainer.

Hi David,

when will we get a new book.zip containing all the translated new strings. Is there a way to export the translation from AMOS to see the string in a local Moodle?

Ralf

Hi Ralf,

you get book.php automatically as a part of official language packs generated by Moodle. AMOS includes translations of 3rd party plugins automatically. So, just install / update de or de_du to see new strings in action. AMOS generates new packs every hour - see docs page for exact time if needed.
