Clarification needed for some English strings

Clarification needed for some English strings

Hi everyone,

I think a few of the English strings need clarification so that translations could be meaningful.

I thought I would find them in user interface of my Moodle test site, but I couldn't so far.

These are:

String identifier Component String
defaulthook
mod_glossary Default hook
thisdirectionvertical core_langconfig btt
contract core_grades Contract category
privacy:metadata:log:cmid core cmid

Thanks in advance,

Mohammad Ali

I think 'cmid' is Client Machine ID as used in MS Windows

Thisdirectionvertical 'btt' is 'bottom to top' as explained in langconfig documentation

'hook' is explained in the wikipedia

In Moodle, cmid is the ID in course module table (the table that gathers all the elements in a course). Anyway, I think it should be translated literally.
